Logically, yes, but we also need to recognize the influence we have on others. Like the balls on a billiard table – they can, in principle, roll in all directions, but will be blocked, redirected, and eventually caught and stopped by the surroundings.
Unlike that kind of universe, humans can, though, decide to give way freely or to guide the redirection deliberately – being aware of what is going on and what would be good for the one trying to move. Which, in turn, means that we accept that there is something that would be good, and, hence, something else, that would be less good – that our choices and actions matter.
